About us
CALACA Press is a publishing studio and creative agency in London led by a community of Latin American artists and designers. We approach publishing as a multidisciplinary practice shifting within the physical and digital, to engage communities in dialogue around art, culture, identity and territory.
We are interested in forms that can carry nuance, and in the capacity of publications as objects that produce relations. For us, publishing is ultimately an act of thinking with others.

What will the internship offer the student and what will they learn while they are with you? E.g. skills they could learn/develop and experience they could gain.
This internship offers a complete experience within an independent publishing studio working across editorial production, print, research, and public programming. The intern will learn how publications are developed from idea to final output, while gaining practical skills in project coordination, creative research, communication, and production processes.
You will be supported through shadowing, guided responsibility, and regular dialogue with the team. By the end of the internship, the intern will have contributed to live projects and developed a printed outcome with our support.
