Creative Business Internship: Innovation Designer at Agreka Build Ltd

Main Duties

Key tasks include:

• Design product use cases and application concepts for sustainable construction materials.

• Develop packaging concepts and visual product presentation materials.

• Create user guides, installation guides, instructional materials and user case studies.

• Support the preparation of technical specifications and product documentation.

• Translate technical and sustainability-focused information into clear, user-friendly design outputs.

• Collaborate with R&D, engineering & commercial teams on product development activities.

• Support prototyping, material testing documentation and design iteration processes.

We are looking for:

• A creative, proactive, curious and adaptable individual with strong design thinking and problem-solving skills.

• An interest in gaining hands-on experience in sustainability, material innovation, regenerative design and circular economy is highly desirable.

• Experience with product design, visual communication, packaging design, CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or presentation design tools would be beneficial.

• Ability to communicate technical ideas through visuals, diagrams, layouts and user-focused design outputs is a plus.

• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, small multidisciplinary startup team environment.

• Gain first-hand experience working in a fast-growing climate-tech startup within the construction and circular economy sectors, where creativity, adaptability & initiative directly shape real products & projects.

• Work closely within a small multidisciplinary team to understand how design decisions interact with manufacturing processes, material properties, and regulatory requirements.

• Learn how to translate emerging material technologies into practical product applications and user-focused design solutions.

• Build practical experience collaborating directly with founders & engineers at the intersection of material innovation, circular economy & regenerative design.

• Develop practical skills in translating complex bio-based technologies into clear, engaging & commercially-ready design outputs.
