Main Duties

We have a paid internship available immediately within Elwin Street Productions’ rights department. This internship is offered to a qualified graduate and preference will be given to those with relevant work experience.

On the International Rights side, duties are to support the Director and involve liaising with our major publishing partners around the world, particularly USA, making appointments, sending out material and assisting with rights negotiations. This also includes database management, liaison with Editorial and generally making sure that the work of the sales team runs efficiently.

On the Marketing side, the internship involves assisting with development of new proposals as well as supporting publicity of existing titles. Duties include writing snappy copy, conducting competitive research, social media activities, liaising with our distributor Thames & Hudson and our freelance publicist, updating our website and other writing and editing work.

You should have an excellent command of the English language, written and spoken and excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. You should show initiative, be used to an international fast-paced environment. You need to be organised, computer literate, and able to handle a busy, varied workload. Languages useful.
