Hours of employment Monday – Thursday: 09.00 to 17.30 Fri depending on season: 09.00 between 14.30-16.30 Benefits Parking on site Monthly company pizza social Job Description Job Title: Purchasing Manager Department: Product Development Reports to: CEO Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience Job Summary Purpose of this role is to be responsible for procuring fabrics from start to end process. This includes buying the products & placing the orders. Determine optimal delivery quantities & timings. Main Responsibilities, but not exhaustive list

  • Facilitate Head of Product Development to achieve department’s goals & delegate & oversee accordingly to Purchasing Assistant
  • To complete regular reporting and deliver to CEO including sales forecasting
  • Attend & participate in regular departmental meetings
  • Research & Design
    • Collate and analyse internal data on previous collection sales volume to plan for next season
    • Facilitating with mood boards & selecting collections in line with trending themes
    • Liaise closely with sales, marketing, warehouse & suppliers for communication & feedback
    • Facilitate on design meetings, colour ways, edits & CAD’s, where necessary making seasonal colour palettes
    • Prepare confirmed artwork for print
  • Supply chain management
    • Engage, manage relationships with suppliers & finding new leads
    • Manage strike offs and shipping samples approvals
    • Ensure all stages of production are organised in purchasing library as well as logged & dated in stock management system
    • Checking all order confirmations, sales contracts and relevant documentation is uploaded into ERP
    • Entering & maintaining product price lists and MOQ’s for core line items up to date
    • Complete purchasing logistics & timely delivery of products
  • New products
    • Complete product creation in database & data entry
    • Provide quality assurance
    • Complete product tagging enabling smooth running of product roadmap
  • Maintaining complex stock levels for repeated lines, consolidating figures to provide evidence to senior management using forecasting reports
  • Complete sourcing requests including product creation whilst liaising closely with customers and sales managers
