Chilham Castle

Company Profile
Chilham Castle has been home to many families over the decades, including some of England’s most colourful and eccentric families, as well as various kings and nobels. The most noteworthy owner has been Henry VIII, former king of England for 36 years. The castle was also briefly occupied by Dauphin of France, heir to the French throne, on his way to invade London which thankfully led to be an unsuccessful venture. Sir Dudley Digges, a merchant adventurer and a close friend of William Shakespear, built the hexagonal mansion on the ancient castle site in 1616. The private residence still bears the name of Chilham Castle, and has been the home of Tishya and Udit Amin since 2022.
