About UIC Located in the beautiful coastal city of Zhuhai, Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC) is the first full-scale cooperation in higher education between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, jointly founded by Beijing Normal University (BNU) and Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). Since its first student enrolment in 2005, with the aim of serving China and the world, UIC has built a new model for liberal arts education in China by tapping into traditional Chinese and Western cultural resources. The College has established the Faculties of Business and Management, Culture and Creativity, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science and Technology, in addition to the Graduate School. With English as the medium of instruction, UIC offers 29 undergraduate programmes, and is approved to offer nine research and five taught postgraduate programmes for about 9,000 students. About School of Culture and Creativity The School of Culture and Creativity (SCC) at United International College (UIC) aims to offer a comprehensive, transformative and multidisciplinary approach to the studies of culture, media, design and creative industries. A range of programmes with a strong creative and practical focus will be offered by the School, including the Bachelor of Communication in Animation and Interactive Media, the Bachelor of Business Administration in Culture, Creativity and Management, the Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Television, the Bachelor of Communication in Media Arts and Design, the Bachelor of Business Administration in Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management, the Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance, Master of Arts in communication - Film TV & New Media Concentration, Master of Arts in communication - Interactive Media Studies Concentration.
