BIGO Live is an international live-streaming app, launched in Asia (Singapore) in 2013 first, in the US three years later and then here in the UK a couple of years ago. The app can currently count on around 400 million users worldwide. In the UK we have between around 35,000 and 40,000 daily active users, but we aim to at least double those figures by the end of this year.
My name is Enrico Cavaliere, and I work in a Business Development Manager capacity within the UK Team, based in London.
BIGO allows anyone to go live and stream, however, we have been signing up professionals from various industries as Official Hosts to bring fresh new content to the app. A specific focus of the UK Team has been that one to hire more and more creatives/artists/designers (students as well as professionals) whose profile, background as well as input are needed in order to potentiate, differentiate and robustly improve our offer when it comes to live content specifically designed for our users to enjoy.
