Established in 2006, the Bloomsbury Festival is an annual celebration of the area's pioneering creativity. Presenting an inspiring and explosive programme of arts, culture, science, literature, and discussion. For ten days each October, streets, parks, museums, galleries, laboratories and public and private buildings host up to 130 events which attract people from across London and beyond.

For hundreds of years the Bloomsbury area has impacted the world through academic institutions, businesses, cultural organisations and diverse communities. The Bloomsbury Festival celebrates this history but also modern-day Bloomsbury, which has one of the youngest and most diverse populations in the country.
