Italian Language/ theatre company.We specialise in English language learning for Italian children throughout the country. Bell offers summer camps in which we facilitate learning through games, songs and creative activities such as arts&crafts; and performance showcases.Through carefully planned and fun summers we hope to associate the English language and culture with positive memories for Italian children; our ethos? Edutainment.By minimising the cultural gap we are pleased to help people learn English and broaden both Tutor and students cultural perspective.TEACH ENGLISH IN ITALY RoleWe are looking for enthusiastic native English speakers to lead games, songs, activities and sports in English to groups of Italian children, in different locations in Italy. Typically work is from 9am to 5pm with a break for lunch. All activities and a schedule of what activities to do, have already been planned.The Summer Camps! The summer camps are a fantastic place where children learn English through a combination of songs, games, crafts, sports and drama activities. A typical day at camp starts and ends with the students singing English songs all together. The rest of the day is divided between the children working in small groups with their own personal tutor and taking part in big activities with the rest of the camp. The overall aim of the camps is to give children the motivation and the confidence to speak the language. What we are looking for: • We are looking for hard working and enthusiastic tutors to come work for us. • You must be a native English speaker who is eligible to work in the EU and • Have a genuine interest in working with children in a creative and engaging learning environment. • High energy and self sufficient, as well as flexible in teaching style. Training: Upon arriving in Italy, all of the tutors will receive expert training from Bell beyond. The training covers areas such classroom management, planning and preparation, classroom games, crafts and large group activities. As well as being a lot of fun, the training is designed to give the tutors everything they need to feel fully prepared to teach at camp.LocationThe 3 day training takes place on a training site in Tuscany. The camps take place all over Italy, giving the tutors a chance to see the beautiful country and experience the culture on a local level. Possible dates to choose from:SESSION 1: From June 9th to June 27th SESSION 2: From Aug 18th to Sep 5th Contract LengthTwo weeks minimum Job TypePaid440 Euros every 2 weeks – all meals and accommodation included throughout your stay. Added ExtrasHomestay accommodation, full room and board included. Your Job at Camp: During the camps, each tutor is responsible for teaching their own small class of Italian children. The children are split into four age groups ranging from 5-14 years old. The training you receive will be relevant to the age group you will teach.Throughout the camp you will also work from a detailed camp schedule created by Bell beyond, with all of the activities carefully planned.
