The London Lens Project

Company Profile

At The London Lens Project, we are dedicated to enriching children’s artistic education by closely aligning our after-school animation workshops with the National Curriculum for the Arts at the Key Stage 2 primary level. Our programs are thoughtfully designed to introduce young learners to a wide range of creative techniques, from stop-motion animation to drawing, sculpting with Play-Doh, and even building with LEGO. We believe in nurturing creativity that aligns with the curriculum goals of primary education, helping students develop foundational art skills that will serve them throughout their academic journey. By exploring a variety of animation methods and learning about influential animators, children gain not only hands-on artistic practice but also early editing skills that can inspire them to pursue further study in the arts. In essence, The London Lens Project serves as an educational partner to schools, enhancing the creative curriculum and providing a structured, curriculum-aligned artistic experience that supports young people’s growth and learning. This alignment ensures that our workshops are not just fun but also a meaningful extension of the educational standards set out for Key Stage 2 students.
