Hi! My name is Julia and I am a student at Imperial College London. Although my research is in the cross-section of Surgery and Robotics, I have always loved Fashion Design. I have tried designing a few pieces, but I definitely need some help with my technique. Anyways! Exciting news: I just got engaged (YAY!!!) and I plan to get married on next 1st of November 2026. As you can imagine, I have always had a dream wedding dress, and I always planned to make it - but I just don't think my skill set is there. I also feel sad spending a ridiculous amount on a wedding dress, and I would prefer that the money goes towards developing someones career. Therefore, I am looking for either undergraduate or postgraduate students (or both), that would like to use my wedding project towards their coursework and/or grow their portfolio. I am looking for either one or a few enthusiastic, fairy-tale-princess, creative minds who have previous experience in clothes making. As for costs,  I would cover all material costs,  and of course, I am happy to pay a fair/reasonable amount towards the production - I am more than happy to discuss what that should be, but for transparency, I do have a budget, since just like you, I am a student. Additionally, I am interested in also someone (either the same person or a different person - this can be a group project) making the groom's outfit (I need it to match mine), the flower girl dresses, and the page boy outfits.
