Fluency in English is a poor metric for measuring one's integration into the local community. AFGC was founded on the belief that First Generation Asians are often overlooked when it comes to integration, while it is not in one's culture to actively speak out even when help is needed. We are a new Charity aiming to empower the Asian community in the UK, especially those whose families did not grow up locally. We provide 3 main opportunities for our beneficiaries, that would otherwise be already available to our local counterparts:
