Competition Description

OPEN FOR ENTRIES

Each year the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE) holds The Gwen May Award which offers a 2 year Student Membership plus £1000 each to two recent printmaking graduates.

Being a Student Member means that you are allowed the opportunity to participate in RE exhibitions for two years both nationally and internationally. Our home at Bankside Gallery, London exhibits RE works 3 times a year.  Any printmaking graduate who has graduated in 2025 can apply, there are two winners from each year.

The award is open to anyone who has studied printmaking on an undergraduate or postgraduate course (textile submissions are not eligible).
