Are you unsure of what your career could look like after you graduate? Whether you’re a first-year student, just starting your final year or you’re a recent graduate, getting experience is the best way to find out how to make a living doing what you love.

Why not visit the Creative Opportunities Job Fair on Wednesday 26 October, at Central Saint Martins, to meet with employers and find out about work opportunities that suit you?

Hosted by UAL’s Careers and Employability, the fair and online talks will allow you to meet and engage with exciting employers, get personalised feedback on your CV and portfolio and hear about how companies recruit and what opportunities are out there to support you.

Register here to enter the fair and follow our Instagram for employer information and job opportunities.

The Creative Opportunities Jobs Board is the go-to hub for art, design, communications and performance graduates. Sign up now and you will have access to thousands of jobs and internships as well as competitions and volunteering opportunities.

Last year, we promoted:

  • 2100+ jobs
  • 275+ internships
  • 40+ volunteering opportunities
  • 50+ competitions

Whether you are looking for a role to fit around your studies or an ongoing one, there are plenty of roles to apply for from freelance, part-time to temporary. Most of these jobs are targeted at entry-level applicants, which is perfect for students who are currently studying or just graduated, but we also promote middleweight roles for alumni with more experience. Our internships section are all entry-level roles for those starting out.
Most roles are creative opportunities  related to UAL courses, but we also recognise that some students may want to earn some extra income whilst studying and so we advertise temporary or part-time roles such as retail, sales, hospitality, administration, bar and restaurant work which offer flexible working hours.

The companies who advertise on Creative Opportunities range from large well-known brands to small companies and start-ups and roles span a variety of industries including design, PR and marketing, and visual arts as well as, opportunities in buying and merchandising, business, consulting and management.

Need further advice on how to get your first job? You can access tailored one-to-one careers support whilst you’re a student and for up to 2 years after you graduate. Our advisors will support you by discussing your career ideas and options and providing advice on applications and interviews.
