Big Fish Tutors is inviting applications for part-time tutors in North West London. Ideal for university students, graduates or aspiring teachers / teaching assistants looking for flexible work and classroom experience.

We provide English, Maths and Science tutoring for school-aged children, helping them grow academically, socially and personally through engaging and structured learning.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive lessons (materials, lesson plans, and worksheets provided)
• Mark homework and track progress
• Provide feedback to parents
• Inspire children through positive guidance

Skills and Experience Required

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal applicant will be:

• Confident, enthusiastic, approachable and a strong communicator
• Proactive and able to take initiative
• Punctual and reliable

Mandatory Requirements:

• UK GCSEs:
• Minimum grade B/6 in English and Maths
• Minimum grade A/7 in Science (for Science tutors)

Preferred (not essential):

• Experience in tutoring, teaching, mentoring or working with children
• Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum
