Description
As a #GetCreative volunteer, you will support young people in exploring various creative programmes developing skills in music, media, visual arts and design, dance and theatre.
Our #GetCreative strand runs youth programmes across the year, including projects such as Make It Mondays (Fashion & Art) ,Music Studio, Hip Hop Dance, Youth Theatre and more.
Your supervisor for this role will be the #GetCreative Lead at Spotlight.
Main Duties
- Assist in running creative workshops in areas such as music, media, visual arts and design, dance and theatre.
- Share creative skills and encourage young people to develop their own talents
- Help prepare materials and equipment for sessions
- Support young people in developing creative projects
- Assist with exhibitions, performances or showcases of young people’s work
- Create a supportive environment that encourages creative expression regardless of ability
