Competition Description

This open call seeks a Newham-based creative practitioner to design and deliver a permanent public artwork for the pocket park at Hawthorne House in Stratford, London Borough of Newham. The commission prioritises site-specific work reflecting Stratford’s diverse communities and supporting empowerment and local identity.

Artists must facilitate co-design workshops with local stakeholders, incorporating community input into the final artwork. The project should enhance the public realm, promote sustainability, and respond to site constraints (no below-ground foundations).
