Main Duties

Wallacespace provides bright, innovative spaces for offsite meetings, training, workshops and events. Delighting our clients with our can-do and will-do attitude and proactive approach is what we do and everyone who works with us shares this objective.

We are looking for a content marketer with exceptional copywriting skills to take the lead on the planning and execution of content and social media marketing activity.

The role is based both onsite along with some home working. You will report into the Associate Director for Marketing.

You’ll be part of our marketing team, but will work closely with our sales team, supporting our business by creating content that has been informed by insights from our customer facing teams and shaped by the brand understanding of marketing, to engage and persuade our client base, as well as making us more ‘discoverable’ to new clients.

You will take a professional, proactive and measurable approach to all marketing activity, ultimately delivering an outstanding service to the wider business. You will be an excellent communicator, with strong project and time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, delivering them on time and to an exceptionally high standard.

Role and responsibilities

As our Content Marketing Executive, you will take the lead on the planning and execution of content and social media marketing activity. Working closely with the rest of the marketing team, you will take a data driven approach, to ensure ROI of content marketing, building brand awareness,  and ultimately increasing revenue.

You will be an excellent communicator, with strong project and time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, delivering them on time and to an exceptionally high standard.

  • Set wallacespace apart from our competitors, with a strong brand look & feel and an interesting, curious and informed point of view.
  • Create engaging content for both online and offline channels which includes marketing flyers, brochures, case studies, newsletters, email communications, infographics, blogs, films and website content.
  • Develop and manage our content calendar, ensuring we have a bank of engaging, thoughtful and interesting content, to capture potential clients’ imaginations and position wallacespace as experts in our field.
  • Maintain and develop the look, feel and user experience of our website, using data to inform decision making and help convert prospects to clients.
  • Develop and manage our Instagram account, moving it on to become a powerful lead generator and brand awareness tool.
  • Proactively research PR and other new marketing opportunities.
  • Keep up to date with trends in web and social media. Conduct regular content audits, market research and competitor research as and when required, making suitable recommendations to improve content and social media marketing activity.
  • Assist with internal communications, for example our company intranet, to create content that educates and informs.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience of working in a creative marketing role with specific time spent copywriting
  • Adobe Creative Suite proficient, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop a close second.
  • Awareness of B2B copywriting
