Main Duties
The role includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
1. Producing Support
In collaboration with the Senior Producer:
Productions
- Support with coordinating schedules and logistics, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, visa processing and access provision
- Be a point of contact for project-based freelancers, ensuring access requirements are met and supporting the smooth running of projects for individuals and for teams
- Support the coordination and delivery of marketing, press and audience development campaigns around productions and tours, including wraparound activity such as Q&As, panel discussions and workshops
- Provide support to individual artists with Access To Work (ATW) applications and renewals where necessary/appropriate.
Programmes
- Support the delivery of Artist Development programmes, including in-house courses, workshops, scratch nights and producing support for Associate Artists’ projects
- Lead delivery of the Learning & Engagement programme, including booking schools workshops, scheduling freelance facilitators and coordinating Learning & Engagement digital resources
- Develop and maintain relationships with teachers, schools and freelance facilitators
2. Company Admin & Operations
Studio
- Support the Finance & Operations Manager to administer the studio diary & bookings process, and conduct viewings for prospective hirers
- Be the main point of contact for studio hires, leading Welcome and Health & Safety inductions for users and ensuring the space is set and re-set at the beginning and end of each hire
- Support the Finance & Operations Manager as an on-the-ground point of contact for office desk rentals and St. Anne’s House building staff
- Maintain stationery supplies and office/studio consumables
Comms
- Coordinate the company e-newsletter: planning the schedule, gathering and generating content and managing the Mailchimp account
- Lead on the creation and delivery of Ad Infinitum’s day-to-day marketing content across social media platforms, including generating written copy, visual and video content.
- Support the freelance Marketing Manager to develop and deliver marketing campaigns and content for specific projects including the Studio, productions, programmes, and recruitment campaigns.
- Ensure website content is up-to-date, accurate, engaging and accessible
3. General
- Ensure your work adheres to Ad Infinitum’s company policies, championing inclusive practice and a culture of care and wellbeing
- Participate in relevant meetings and events as required
- Attend relevant training as required
- Positively represent Ad Infinitum in external contexts, advocating for the organisation’s work within the sector and beyond
- Any other duties appropriate to the post and organisation
Skills and Experience Required
Essential Criteria
- Highly organised, efficient and resourceful, with excellent administrative skills and a keen eye for detail
- Self-motivated and able to manage a broad range of tasks, priorities and deadlines, both time sensitive and ongoing, with ability to work flexibly and responsively under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a confident, natural collaborator
- Comfortable working in a highly digital environment, using platforms and tools such as Squarespace, Slack and Google Workspace (or Microsoft/other equivalents!)
- Experience using social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
- An eye for design and experience or familiarity with marketing and communications tools such as Mailchimp, Canva and video editing software (or an eagerness to learn!)
- Interest in and passion for socio-political themes and multicultural, diverse, international performing arts
- A commitment to access, inclusion and the broadening of cultural diversity within the arts
Desirable knowledge, experience and attributes
- A knowledge of and passion for Ad Infinitum’s practice and a desire to play a key role in its continued development
- Experience working in an arts organisation, venue/building or community space
- Experience organising/producing performances and cultural or community projects of different scales and forms
- Experience in developing accessible initiatives and/or supporting people with access requirements, for example those who identify as Deaf, deaf, hard of hearing and Disabled
- Experience working with artists and creative people from a diverse range of backgrounds and career levels
