Sunday Showroom Assistant

Main Duties

• Customer Service: Greet and engage with all showroom visitors, providing knowledgeable assistance with products, styling advice and brand background.
• Retail Support: Assist customers with enquiries, sample handling and be the first point of contact for visitors to the showroom.
• Showroom Management: Maintain a clean, organised and visually appealing showroom environment across both floors. Ensure all products and samples are tidy and accessible.
• Security & Monitoring: Be aware of customer flow and activity throughout the space, especially now with an upstairs area in use. Help monitor visitor movements and ensure a safe environment for all.
• Product Knowledge: Learn the product range and brand story to confidently speak about materials, finishes, lead times and design philosophy.
• Team Communication: Clearly and professionally communicate with the core showroom team to relay any messages, customer feedback, or operational issues.

Skills and Experience Required

• Enthusiastic, proactive, and confident in customer-facing roles
• A genuine interest in interiors, furniture, and sustainable design
• Well organised, punctual, and detail oriented
• Previous retail or showroom experience is a bonus, but not essential
• Takes initiative and is happy to roll up their sleeves to keep things running smoothly
• A good communicator who can remain calm and professional during busy periods
