Very Part-time Portrait Photographer, London

Main Duties

Looking for friendly, talented entry level portrait photographers for occasional weekend shoots and week-day shoots in London

Hey Saturday is the OG dating photo agency. We specialise in helping our clients create and shape stand-out dating app profile photos, by enabling them to visually share the story of who they are and what they’re about. We aim to visually tell the stories, our clients are willing to share about themselves, with a view to helping them attract more of their kind of people on the apps. We also work with a number of matchmaking agencies across the UK.

Our photoshoot experiences are more an adventure than formal photo shoot. We currently work with freelance photographers across London, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol and Manchester in the UK and New York City, Los Angeles and Philadelphia in the US.

We now need a part-time London photographer to shoot the occasional portrait shoot on weekends/week days as and when needed, alongside our regular London photographer, at mutually convenient dates and times. We would also need cover for when the London photographer is away across the year.

Please only apply if you’re happy to do just the occasional shoot and you live in London. There is definitely potential for more regular work for the right person.

We are looking for a talented, amateur, freelance portrait photographer to work with our clients who are single people looking to make an impact online with a set of great profile photos. Freelancers are offered some training in the Hey Saturday style of shooting so that you understand the dynamics of dating photography versus normal portrait photography.

For each client booked, you will be responsible for:

• communicating with them in a warm, professional way
• getting to know them for the purpose of capturing them well in their photos
• helping them prepare for their shoot
• taking charge of their photoshoot, while taking care of them during the shoot
• delivering a set of gorgeous, edited and lightly-retouched digital files, that are suitable for using on their dating apps of choice (or for matchmaker partners that we work with)
• meeting all deadlines and remaining professional at all times
• helping create a great Hey Saturday experience for them.

• have experience of shooting good quality portraits of people (examples of work needed)

• be able to connect with all kinds of people and help them to relax and have a laugh
