Main Duties
Content Creation & Editing
- Plan and schedule content across Instagram (mainly) & TikTok
- Repurpose existing assets from Wavy
- Edit tutorial, transformation and event footage into engaging social-first content
- Repurpose UGC content into high-performing assets
Community Management
- Monitor and respond to DMs and comments in a timely, thoughtful way
- Engage with community members, barbers, creators and customers
- Engage and activate our growing creator list of over 500+
- Proactively build conversation, not just respond to it
- Identify strong community voices, potential creators and gifting opportunities
- Support Open Day shoots and in-person community moments with live coverage
Campaign & Growth Support
- Support product launches and event promotion
- Assist in building creator collaborations and partnerships
- Track engagement, sentiment and growth opportunities
- Surface insights from the community to inform content direction
- Support reactive, cultural and conversation-led content ideas
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience creating short-form social content
- Strong videography and editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar)
- Understanding of community-building beyond trends
- Strong eye for design, composition and brand consistency
- Confident writing captions that feel relevant and brand aligned
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working independently
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, Google Suite or similar tools
Bonus (but not essential):
- Experience within haircare, grooming or beauty
- Experience working with creators or UGC
- Personal interest in textured hair, barbershop culture or identity-led brands
