Main Duties

We’re looking for a freelance Social Media & Content Assistant to support with content creation, scheduling, and light community management.

This role is ideal for someone creative, organised, and aligned with wellness, creativity, and inclusive spaces.

You will help translate in-person experiences (retreats, yoga sessions, ceramics workshops) into beautiful, intentional online storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule content (Instagram primarily, TikTok)
  • Create static posts, carousels, and simple reels
  • Edit short-form video content from event footage
  • Support with caption writing in the earth.works tone
  • Maintain a consistent visual aesthetic aligned with the brand
  • Monitor DMs and comments (as agreed)
  • Support with launch campaigns and event promotion
  • Repurpose content across platforms
  • Support campaign ideas, partnerships and storytelling.
  • Track engagement, insights and growth opportunities.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience in content creation, (primarily) videography and photography – portfolio and or showreel required.
  • Have experience managing social media for a brand (wellness/creative brands a bonus)
  • Understand how to grow community without relying on trends that feel misaligned
  • Have a strong eye for design and brand consistency
  • Strong editing and post-production skills: can edit short-form video confidently using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro etc.
  • Are organised and proactive
  • Are comfortable working independently
  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Design, Google Suite or similar tools
  • Basic copywriting skills
  • Basic graphic design skills
  • Interest in yoga, ceramics, or creative wellness (desirable but not essential)
