Main Duties

Are you an artist or creative who enjoys playing chess?

We are a group of individuals that work as artist’s, musicians, film makers and an array of other practises who also enjoy getting paid to spend a couple hours a week teaching children chess.

We are looking for some additional people that love chess to join our team.

The clubs take place at schools premises across London – Each person gets to teach the sessions closest to where they live.

  • Sessions take place either at lunchtime (starting at between 12 and 12:30pm) or after school (starting between 3 and 3:30pm). Private lessons either take place after school or on weekends.
  • We have shared teaching resources and you can also structure your own lessons if you wish.
  • We offer training where you get to come and shadow other teachers.
  • Sessions pay £40 per hour session.

Skills and Experience Required

Requirements

  • You must be able to commit to teaching at least 1 weekly hourly session (during term time).
  • You need to be reliable to ensure you turn up on time.
  • No teaching qualification is required and we can apply for a DBS if you don’t have one.
