Salary £200 fee
Hours 4-6 hours
Location London
Closing Date 31 January 2026
Position Type Freelance
Advert expires on 31 January 2026

Main Duties

Project Description

I am seeking a talented photography student or recent graduate with a keen eye for architectural and interior photography to document a recently renovated apartment in Beckenham/BR3 (1min walk from New Beckenham station)

The renovation has been completed to a high standard with a focus on a minimalist aesthetic/mid-century modern. The primary goal of this shoot is to produce a suite of professional, “magazine-ready” images for submission to interior design and architecture publications (such as Dezeen, Wallpaper*, or Elle Decoration).

The Brief

  • Interiors: Capture the flow of the space, material textures, and bespoke joinery.
  • Lighting: Utilize natural light to showcase the atmosphere of the apartment throughout the day.
  • Composition: A mix of wide-angle “hero” shots and tight, editorial detail/vignette shots.
  • Post-Production: High-end retouching, color grading, and perspective correction (straightening verticals).

Skills and Experience Required

Requirements

  • Portfolio: Please provide a link to a portfolio or Instagram showcasing previous architectural or interior work.
  • Equipment: Must have access to a tripod and a wide-angle lens (e.g., 16mm–35mm or a tilt-shift lens).
  • Vision: An interest in editorial styling and an eye for “the shot” that tells a story.

Deliverables

  • Approximately [10–15] high-resolution, fully edited digital images.
  • Both RAW and JPEG formats.

Location & Time

  • Location: BR3, London.
  • Duration: Estimated 4–6 hour shoot (to capture changing light).
  • Date: Flexible, but looking to shoot in February 2026

Compensation

  • Rate: £200 for the session and editing
  • Credit: Full credit will be given to the photographer in all magazine submissions and social media features.
