Fabric Showroom Assistant

Main Duties

Your duties would include:

• Organising the sample library for the seven  brands (Coordonne, Linwood, The Isle Mill, Wemyss, Ian Mankin, Ian Sanderson and The Bradley Collection)
• Assisting customers and giving advice on suitable fabrics and wallcovering  for all brands
• Taking orders, swatch requests and dealing with enquires over the telephone
• Maintaining and tidying the showroom to a high standard
• Liaising with our mill regarding fabric orders and enquiries
• Managing and producing social media content weekly (@studiotwochelsea)

Skills and Experience Required

Our ideal candidate would:

Have a polite and friendly manner dealing with our customers – via the telephone / face to face Be someone who is able to multitask on a daily basis Have a love and knowledge of textiles and fabrics

The suitable candidate would gain the following skills: Textile knowledge eg fibre contents and different types of weaving and finishing techniques, Customer service and retail experience.
