Studio / Design Assistant

Main Duties

We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive Studio Assistant to join on a six-month, part-time contract (8–10 hours per week), with flexibility and scope to increase over time.

• Keep the studio organised and maintain internal systems and spreadsheets.
• Update and develop SketchUp files for ongoing projects.
• Manage samples and materials, ensuring they’re tracked and ordered as needed.
• Handle day-to-day communication with suppliers and collaborators.
• Support the founder with general studio administration and project coordination.
• Follow one key project from start to finish, assisting through all stages.

Skills and Experience Required

• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
• Proficiency in SketchUp and Canva (essential)
• Knowledge of Programa useful
• Good communication skills — clear, professional, and personable
• Self-motivated and reliable, able to manage time effectively
• Adaptable and easy to work with, comfortable in a small, close-knit team
• Basic admin and digital literacy, including maintaining spreadsheets and systems
• Interest in interior design or creative studios
