We’re looking for an Assistant to work in our award-winning Communications & Marketing team. This is a broad role – including design and marketing projects, supporting with campaigns and conducting website administration. Equally important as the creative work, will be building relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders such as design and video production agencies.
This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who is an expert with the Adobe Suite (especially Illustrator) and has a creative flare. You’ll have the opportunity to build and develop your skills within a talented team and a diverse and influential industry.
We’re open to flexible, and/or job share working – please let us know if this would be your preference. We work in a hybrid way with at least 40% of time in the office.
Our team is made up of people who are new to insurance, those who are highly experienced, and everyone in-between, so we welcome people from all industry backgrounds.
What’s the job?
- Work with the Marketing and Brand Manager to design and develop new assets for social posts, especially the Instagram account
- Create and design assets for different mediums including digital and physical applications. This will include for our events and email signatures
- Work with the Marketing and Brand Manager to plan and update the social media content calendar, developing posts in advance and creating a content bank of assets
- Assist with the day-to-day administration of the website and intranet, including uploading content and ensuring it’s up to date
- Support the delivery of the ABI’s flagship communications, including Mid-Year and Annual Reports.
- Support the team in agency and supplier management, including briefing in design work, helping coordinate photographers and videographers.
- Provide day-to-day support and analysis to help successfully develop and deliver impactful campaigns
Skills and Experience Required
What skills are we looking for?
- Design skills – you have strong working knowledge of the Adobe suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Marketing – you have a keen interest in, and good basic knowledge of, marketing and social media
- Communication – your written communication is of a high standard and you also love building positive working relationships and collaborating with others.
- Organisation and attention to detail – you can deliver work accurately and on schedule.
- Curious – you think creatively and are naturally inquisitive.
