Main Duties
Main tasks:
- Manage regular posting on social media platforms, mainly Instagram and TikTok.
- Proactively plan future content needs, including identifying gaps and create lo-fi content in-house (using Canva or AI tools).
- Stay up to date with trends across social media platforms and propose innovative ideas to enhance performance.
- Draft and co-ordinate briefs to content creators for organic and paid content.
- Help to organise photoshoots or other production efforts where the need occurs.
- Research and outreach to potential influencers/affiliates and content creators.
- Confident copywriter with a social-first mindset, agility, and resourcefulness to respond to campaign needs as they unfold.
- Nice to have: Conceptualise and create high-quality videos to be used for organic and paid social, with a specific focus on Instagram Reels (content creation).

- An excellent communicator: Able to articulate ideas clearly, collaborate effectively with teams, and build strong relationships with creators and the Founder.
- Highly organised: Skilled at managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and forward-planning to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
- Creative and innovative: Excited to bring fresh ideas to content creation and marketing strategies, with a strong sense of visual aesthetics.
- Adaptable and flexible: Ready to pivot strategies and priorities when faced with changing trends, challenges, or new opportunities.
- Customer-focused: Attuned to the needs of the community, passionate about fostering connections, and dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences.
- Proactive and forward-thinking: Always planning ahead, identifying opportunities for improvement, and taking initiative to address gaps or challenges.
- Passionate about social media: Enthusiastic about staying on top of trends, experimenting with new tools, and leveraging platforms to their full potential.
- Detail-oriented: Meticulous in ensuring that all posts, events, and campaigns are polished and align with the brand’s voice and vision.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in social media and is excited about bringing, new ideas and a fun, youthful energy to our brand. The role will start as part-time and short-term, but if we found the right candidate, we would potentially look to increase the hours next year.
