What will the volunteering role offer the student and what will they learn while they are with you?
While volunteering with us, students can expect to:
- Develop event coordination and logistics skills by assisting with artist liaison, crowd support, and performance schedules.
- Gain insight into producing outdoor, site-specific performance art in an urban setting.
- Build experience in working with artists and creative teams, gaining exposure to diverse artistic practices.
- Strengthen communication and teamwork in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Understand the behind-the-scenes workings of a public-facing cultural project, including health & safety, accessibility, and audience engagement.
All volunteers will be briefed in advance, supported by a dedicated team during the event, and welcomed into a collaborative and inclusive environment. This is a chance to be part of a joyful and unconventional arts experience while building valuable creative industry skills.
