Entrepreneur in Residence

Main Duties

To work in UAL’s Enterprise and Events team within Careers and Employability.

UAL is ranked number one UK university for producing entrepreneurs. Help support emerging founders and freelancers make a living doing what they love and make an impact in the creative industries

What does it involve?

• We are seeking 2 entrepreneurs in residence to work with the team from either October 2025 to February 2026 or February 2026 to June 2026.

• Using your insights and specialisms to offer one-to-ones with students and graduates; run workshops and help shape our innovative programmes and opportunities

Skills and Experience Required

Who we’re looking for someone:

For this call we are looking for one of the entrepreneurs to have knowledge and an interest in AI within entrepreneurship within the creative industries.

• Currently running an established business or freelance practice
• Specialises in or has a working knowledge of the creative industries (e.g. design, fashion, visual art, digital and new media, performance and live art, photography)
• Willing to offer insights into the business start-up journey and keen to support new creative entrepreneurs and freelancers
• Able to pass on business skills in your specialist areas
• We are particularly interested in founders with interests in sustainability, social impact and/or innovative, creative approaches
• We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds
