Main Duties

  • Photograph advertising screens across various London locations during Freshers season (September–October)
  • Capture documentary-style images of students interacting with their environment, where relevant to the brief
  • Edit and prepare images to meet brand standards (lighting, tone, aspect ratio, sharpness)
  • Assist in compiling photo reports for clients, including image selection and basic layout/presentation
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines while travelling between locations
  • Maintain an organised workflow for shooting, editing, and file delivery
  • Communicate clearly with the RockBox team, asking questions and taking feedback onboard

  • Commercial Photography Experience
    Learn how to capture professional, brand-aligned images in real-world settings, with a focus on out-of-home advertising and people-led imagery. along with this learn how to put together invoices and photography reports
  • Location-Based Shooting
    Develop confidence working on location across varied urban environments—from university campuses to music venues—navigating real-time challenges like lighting, crowds, and composition.
  • Client-Focused Image Making
    Understand how to create work with a commercial objective in mind, including selecting and editing images that align with campaign briefs and brand guidelines.
  • Photo Editing & Presentation
    Gain practical experience in editing images for tone, sharpness, and consistency, and preparing them for client-facing reports in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working to Deadlines
    Build time-management and organisational skills by delivering high-quality visual content within structured timelines.
  • Team Collaboration
    Learn how to work closely with a creative team in an advertising setting, communicating ideas and receiving feedback professionally.
