Main Duties
Your Quests Include:
- Assesses deals launched on the website against set KPIs.
- Analyses location and tier performance of emails and uses findings to make strategic decisions.
- Builds exposure strategies for different tiers and locations to maximise visitation and revenue on key deals.
- Plans daily email orders ensuring a good mix of key categories are included and seasonal focuses are considered, whilst avoiding deal fatigue and offering variety to the consumer.
- Builds exposure plans.
- Work with generics team to schedule paid slots for generic deals monthly to meet merchant requirements baring in mind consumer behaviour across the month.
- Perfectly balances deal exposure offsite so that revenue is maximised but content remains engaging for the consumer.
- Ensures there are no clashes in the system between email orders for different regions.
- Selects deals for web and app pushes.
- Works with product team to automate and innovate to maximise email performance.
- Assesses subscriber base and make suggestions on email strategy.
- Uses audience builder tool to target suitable customers for deals.
- Works closely with CRM using AB testing to improve email performance.
Skills and Experience Required
Who you are:
- Degree or previous experience in Merchandising and Buying
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools (e.g. excel)
- Ability to analyse data sets in order to arrive at logical conclusions
- Experience in tools such as SQL and Power Bi useful but not essential
- Ability to prioritise and multitask, responding to ad-hoc data requests whilst taking care of ongoing tasks / projects
- Ability to work with people with a variety of styles and working cultures
