We’re seeking a personable, detail-oriented Fabric Sales Associate who is passionate about fabrics and the possibilities they inspire. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers—especially our vibrant maker community—offering exceptional support and guiding them through our extensive fabric selection.

Job Summary
As a Fabric Sales Associate, you’ll be responsible for our small maker customer lifecycle. In addition, you’ll support our clients from our showroom, offering expert product advice, managing orders, and resolving queries. You’ll be the key point of contact for inbound communication — whether in person, via phone, or email — ensuring a smooth and professional customer journey from enquiry to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationships – Assist walk-in customers in our showroom and warehouse with product selection and order fulfilment. Building relationships, understanding their needs and identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities through regular communication
  • Communication – Respond promptly to all inbound customer enquiries including inbound calls, emails, and messages, providing accurate information and solutions
  • Sales Development & Revenue Generation – Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and outbound engagement to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  • Market Insight & Feedback Reporting – Gather and analyse customer feedback and market trends, presenting key insights during monthly sales and product development meetings to inform strategy and improve offerings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with internal departments, including buying & merchandising, marketing and warehouse departments to ensure alignment of strategy, consistency of service, and effective issue resolution.
